Michael has graduated from Ariel University (Israel) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Since then, Michael has been practicing as a Registered Physiotherapist in various areas, including sport-related injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and geriatrics. During his career, Michael has expanded his professional knowledge through courses and workshops in multiple areas of practice such as Vestibular Rehabilitation, Dry Needling, Taping, and Sports Injuries.

When sport injury has prevented him from pursuing his professional soccer training, Michael has decided to become a health care practitioner with expertise in rehabilitation of sports-related conditions. After completing his education, Michael has returned to his home soccer club as a Sports Physiotherapist. Michael has a real passion for his profession. His motivation and enthusiasm stem from being able to help patients improve their day-to-day lives and performance.

Outside of his practice at Bloor Yonge Chiropractic, Michael enjoys spending time with his family. He also loves cooking, playing tennis, hiking, and camping.

Dr. Isaac Norman, D.C. BKin (Honours) graduated Cum Laude from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2020. Dr. Norman grew up in a coastal community family that fostered a love of nature, community, healthy eating, respect for the ocean and outdoor activity as a way of life, including hiking, biking, kayaking and surfing.

As a teen, Dr. Norman represented Canada as a member of the Canadian Youth Surf Team and competed on the International Surf Association World Junior Games Circuit for several years.

During his high school and undergraduate years, Dr. Norman played on many varsity school teams and was a member of the Dalhousie Track and Field team for four years. His passion for education and athletics helped to earn him the Academic All Canadian Award while completing his undergraduate degree as a varsity athlete for Dalhousie University.

His experiences during his formative years led him naturally and inevitably to a career in health care. As an evidence-based practitioner, Dr. Norman is a primary health care professional with expert knowledge in spinal and musculoskeletal health, emphasizing diagnosis and patient centered care. Dr. Norman provides a combination of treatment styles to treat a spectrum of patients and conditions. His approach to treatment includes diversified chiropractic adjusting, patient rehabilitation and education.

Our Clinic Director Dr. Igor Sapozhnikov, D.C. has graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2004. He developed his passion for the profession through his extensive 15-year athletic experience. Dr. Sapozhnikov is a former professional athlete with the Canadian National Water Polo team, which puts him in a unique position of understanding musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions both as a doctor and as an athlete.

As a result of his sports career, he has lived through the majority of the injuries he now treats as a doctor. Based on his extensive clinical, educational, and athletic experiences Dr. Sapozhnikov, D.C. has developed a unique approach to chiropractic care that unites multiple techniques focusing on neuromusculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment using evidence-based, highly skilled and non-invasive modes of therapy to treat spine and joint-related conditions, benefitting a wide range of patients.

His medical qualifications have allowed him to act as a primary consultant for Canadian Olympic athletes, and as a sports doctor for the 2005 Canadian Maccabi Water Polo team. He also worked as an expert chiropractic examiner for various insurance companies, including Statefarm, TD and Intact.

Paulyn has been a health care practitioner for 19 years. Her passion for helping patients as a respiratory therapist in the intensive care unit at the Hospital for Sick Children has grown to include treating physical discomfort and dysfunction as a massage therapist.

Paulyn graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2017. She is a Graston Technique® therapy provider, a Thai massage practitioner and certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (I) and Neurokinetic Therapy (I).
