Michael has graduated from Ariel University (Israel) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Since then, Michael has been practicing as a Registered Physiotherapist in various areas, including sport-related injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and geriatrics. During his career, Michael has expanded his professional knowledge through courses and workshops in multiple areas of practice such as Vestibular Rehabilitation, Dry Needling, Taping, and Sports Injuries.

When sport injury has prevented him from pursuing his professional soccer training, Michael has decided to become a health care practitioner with expertise in rehabilitation of sports-related conditions. After completing his education, Michael has returned to his home soccer club as a Sports Physiotherapist. Michael has a real passion for his profession. His motivation and enthusiasm stem from being able to help patients improve their day-to-day lives and performance.

Outside of his practice at Bloor Yonge Chiropractic, Michael enjoys spending time with his family. He also loves cooking, playing tennis, hiking, and camping.

Elad Granovsky has obtained his Registered Massage Therapy license in 2013 from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. He also has graduated with BSC of Psychology from York University in 2018.

Since then, Elad has been practicing in a multidisciplinary clinic setting. He has an extensive experience treating athletes, elderly, children, MVA, and WSIB patients. Elad successfully manages chronic and acute pain, as well as stroke, injuries, and Parkinson’s rehabilitation. In his practice Elad uses a wide range of techniques such as lymph drainage, myofascial release, TMJ, trigger point, and deep tissue therapy.

With his training in competitive swimming, martial arts, weightlifting, and power lifting, Elad understands how the body functions, as well as the nature and complexity of various injuries and their rehabilitation. He practices yoga, qigong, and body weight training in his spare time. He also incorporates yoga, qigong, breathing, and meditation techniques to supplement the treatments. Elad strongly believes in educating patients about their condition to ease some of their fears associated with treatments and give them the confidence and control over the rehabilitation process.

Konstantin Komliev graduated as an Osteopath from the London College of Osteopathy and Health Sciences in 2023, after immigrating from Ukraine. He developed his passion for osteopathy through his extensive 24-year medical experience. Konstantin Komliev is a former Doctor obstetrician-gynecologist and Head of the PO “Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Donetsk Region” (Ukraine), which puts him in a unique position of understanding osteopathic treatment in prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum stages.

As a result of his medical career, vast experience, and knowledge in observation of pregnant women, management of labor through natural and surgical delivery, and postpartum periods allow Konstantin to correctly diagnose pathologies in pregnancy and use the most effective and safe osteopathic techniques for a pregnant woman and fetus. Knowledge and understanding of the physiological changes that occur in the body during pregnancy allow Konstantin to use osteopathic techniques to prepare a woman’s body for pregnancy and the early recovery after childbirth, especially if pregnancy and childbirth were complicated. Using his experience as a gynecologist, Konstantin can also apply osteopathic treatments in chronic gynecological pathologies and complex cases of infertility for both females and males.

Our Clinic Director Dr. Igor Sapozhnikov, D.C. has graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2004. He developed his passion for the profession through his extensive 15-year athletic experience. Dr. Sapozhnikov is a former professional athlete with the Canadian National Water Polo team, which puts him in a unique position of understanding musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions both as a doctor and as an athlete.

As a result of his sports career, he has lived through the majority of the injuries he now treats as a doctor. Based on his extensive clinical, educational, and athletic experiences Dr. Sapozhnikov, D.C. has developed a unique approach to chiropractic care that unites multiple techniques focusing on neuromusculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment using evidence-based, highly skilled and non-invasive modes of therapy to treat spine and joint-related conditions, benefitting a wide range of patients.

His medical qualifications have allowed him to act as a primary consultant for Canadian Olympic athletes, and as a sports doctor for the 2005 Canadian Maccabi Water Polo team. He also worked as an expert chiropractic examiner for various insurance companies, including Statefarm, TD and Intact.

Outside of his practice at Bloor Yonge Chiropractic, Dr. Sapozhnikov enjoys an active lifestyle. He is a passionate snowboarder and skier.
